I could say that I'd love to pick his brain for a day, however in reality the depths of his knowledge are so far beyond me I'd likely need explanations of his explanations. 😂😂😂 Thanks for the video. I'll absorb and apply what I can.

I just ran this test the other day 4 times fired brass that was hard as hell did not group well altho my velocity remained largely the same within 15 fps average (seperate days with significant temp changes) 1 thing I did notice was my seating force was significantly higher then the first firing despite using the same mandrel and sizing die This matters because the initial load development was showing groups in the .8 inch area (10 round group) (factory rifle) by the time I got the 4th firing, my groups were 1.5 to 2 inches I annealed the brass, and I could seriously tell the seating force was much lower, and my seating die also showed that when the same seating die setting sat the bullet .010 deeper into the case from the hard brass I'm going to test 10 shot groups again in a couple of days with the same seating depth as before and powder. However, I'm also going to play with seating depth as well and see what happens

Seating depth, really ! This is how you control harmonics, and you say no. I say bunk I use .005 and it works that tells me all I need to know when my group shrinks record that move on to the next bullet and you can follow erosion, you do you I will do what works for me. GOD BLESS.

Ok its been a couple weeks since I saw your " dwell" video. So I gave it a try....10 seconds dwell.... WOW what a difference. Been loading for a while, using good gear and SAC dies, but after a few uses of my brass i was having hard chambering issues. All my measurements seemed right on ,but still having issues. I anneal every go round, trim chamfer etc. I check my rounds with an RCBS chamber gauge and I would have to lightly push them into the gauge. I figured I was oversized a couple 10ths. But now with dwell they drop into the gauge and go into battery like butter. Gotta say I was surprised. Also this is the 15 th loading on this batch of brass and it shoots sub 1/2 moa. So,better chambering and more accurate results. I'm a believer, DWELL works. And I owe you a big thank you.

Thank you for the video, I liked how you did it from the three perspectives, and you are right that there is not much out there in the way of PVC ablations vs. AFIB. As someone who suffers with PVCs myself, but under the 10K threshold, this brings up a question: Since in most cases, it is my understanding is that PVCs are brought on by anxiety. If that is true, after ablation wouldn't they just find another pathway to eventually resume if the anxiety is ultimately not addressed? However, I do understand the catch 22 issue that as the burden goes up, in addition to the quality-of-life issues, one also risks heart damage.

So what is the science behind this annealing first, then cleaning theory? Is it because dry tumbling generating heat during the process which causes oxidation on the brass surface? If yes, what about wet tumbling without SS media pin, just lemon shine and dish soap for 1 hour? The brass won't be heating up in water, so there should be no difference. I doubt changing the order of annealing would cause the seating force reduced dramatically from average 120lb down to 50lb like he shown in the video. It could be neck tension, angle of chamfering or even condition of two different brand of brass(Don't understand for someone with almost unlimited budget like Greg picked two different brand of brass to demostrate this kind of experiement).

Had another Ablation April 1st - all was good until July 22 when I had some SVTs that lasted awhile! So my Electrophysiologist wants to see a full recording of my Loop Recorder so I had to transfer the ability of the Dr who placed the Loop Recirder to the Dr who did my ablation! He is surprised I think that I am having these episodes this long after my ablation and wants to see if I might have Afib! I’ve tried to research but I am more confused now than before! Annealing first. Let me just say I believe this too be the most important key too the process for me. All the other stuff you really don’t have much choice in the matter because you can’t trim before sizing really. It literally brought my rifle too life. For years I chanced pretty annealing marks after tumbling and it really almost doubled my group sizes sometimes

The ECG showed a delta wave, which had never appeared before in any of my previous ECGs, Holter monitors, or stress tests. They told me I need to see an electrophysiologist, which terrified me. I couldn't sleep for five days, worrying there was a major issue. Watching your video has been a real relief. I'll wait for my appointment with the EP specialist without fear. Thanks for sharing.

This is why I don’t understand that more of the chassis companies aren’t pushing even longer foreends. I get that they would need to be rigid enough to not make barrel contact but you’d think they could stretch them out to 20”-24” since most everyone is at least shooting a 24” barrel. Then the need for attaching things that mess with barrel harmonics wouldn’t exist. Make PRS guns look like futuristic Mannlicher stocked rifles.

Keith, since you're an engineering minded guy like me, I think you can appreciate my take on balance-- A rifle should not only have it's *static* balance considered, but it's *dynamic* balance as well (under recoil). Think about it this way-- if the center of mass was perfectly aligned with the bore axis, how much muzzle rise would you have? How well would it stay on target? Well, the answer is "zero" muzzle rise and "perfectly" stay on target. This is why I think adding mass above the bore axis is a good thing. Raise your scope as tall as you can manage, use a diving board scope mount so you can slap some picatinny weights to it, whatever it takes. Adding tall mass to the rifle to raise the CoM to the bore axis can only help stay on target and eliminate muzzle rise-- even if you have no brake on the muzzle.

Yes, sometimes, maybe but not my favorite thing to do. What i do is buy 500 or 1k rounds of brass all the same lot either Peterson, Alpha, or Lapua for particular rifle. See what the neck thickness is and have my reamer made accordingly.. i have only turned a few. Mostly yse an inside reamer pilot to remove the donut on the inside of my AIs. There is some vast variations in neck thicknesses on certain cartridges like a 220 Swift. Winchester brass being very thick is what I sized my reamer to. If i would have sized my reamer on Hornady or other brass and used Winchester brass i would be trimming all if it and that is NO FUN!!! LOL It is not so much the thickness i am after but the consistency in the side to side. I do my brass in batches of 500 minimum pieces. Thanks Keith, great video.

Thanks fer sharing, been using split-shaft collars for about 4 years now, they have a 2-fold benefit by effecting harmonics in a positive way & are effective because of the shear weight vs a tuner that is just too minimal & allows atmospherics to effect it alone, I put them on, adjust/tune load & all stays set.
